Pieter-Jan Van Wesepoel

Pieter-Jan Van Wesepoel represents the fourth generation of Fontein & Bova, a Belgian furniture manufacturer with roots dating back to 1928.
His approach to design is deeply connected to the atelier. Surrounded by materials, craftsmanship and the different stages of production, he finds inspiration in the unexpected. A simple shape, the unfinished form of a piece in production, or even a technical challenge can become the starting point for a new design.
Rather than following a predefined design process, his ideas develop through observation, experimentation and a constant dialogue between form, material and technique. His understanding of the making process allows him to explore possibilities that might otherwise remain unnoticed.
For Pieter-Jan, design is not separate from craftsmanship. One continuously shapes the other, reflecting the philosophy of Fontein & Bova: Built Through Curiosity.

Hervé Beel, RV architects

RV architects is an architecture and design office in Oudenaarde, led by Hervé Beel. The office designs homes, country houses and farmsteads, new builds as well as renovations, with architecture and interior conceived as one whole, down to the furniture.
The RV dining table began as a piece for one specific house, inspired by the forest: subtle traces of wildlife among the red beeches. A solid wood table with a softly flowing outline and a subtle inlay that can change its mood. It comes in three sizes, modesto, originario and numerosa, with a matching bench and stool. Collected by Fontein & Bova.

Wout Segers

Wout Segers is a product and furniture designer based in Belgium. He graduated in industrial design and approaches each creation with attention to detail and respect for the materials. In his work, he consistently seeks a balance between robustness and refinement, aiming to create timeless pieces that add visual value while remaining functional.
WS1 is a stool inspired by brutalist architecture. It blends the roughness and coldness of this harsh aesthetic with the warmth and refinement of solid wood. Its bold silhouette is softened by a subtle curve, offering both visual impact and comfort. A timeless piece, collected by Fontein & Bova.
